It looks like this TO-20 has a vertical exahaust pipe bolted to the side of the hood. So how does he tilt the hood forward to access the gas filler?

And how would you put a vertical exhaust on one of these correctly? Is there a cast iron U-pipe available so you don't have to bolt it to the hood for support?

Hate to see what else could be wrong with this tractor if the owner couldn't even put a tire on right and used the wrong muffler without the right brackets.

the hood appears to be notched on the side for the brace.

Yeah, it does look like the hood has been cut out. I'll bet the brace is something like strap steel bolted to a bolt hole in the front of the gas tank where the tool box would be mounted.

Someone will buy this tractor for the asking price. As the supply of small, simplistic gas powered tractors continues to dwindle, running specimens will command higher prices. Has anyone looked at modern compact tractors nowadays just for laughs? It seems that all of them are loaded with fancy options that you have to pay for whether you want them or not. And don't even get me started on the ugly, wind tunnel styling most of them have.

I hate to say it guys but someone will buy this tractor. I agree it is a creative invention and the tires are wrong but I would buy it for 1800.00 LESS than the asking price, would youall?

I'd stay away from tractor that required you remove the exhaust system to fuel it and that had one rear tire mounted backwards! I suppose you could cut a door for access tothe fuel cap.

Is there a reason to put the tires on backwards like that? Like rotating car tires or something?

I saw this same tractor on Ebay a week or so ago as well. I wondered the same thing...can you open the hood? It looks kind of beat up for that price, and that car muffler looks terrible on there! Probobly quiet though...
