You guys have already helped me out once tonight lets try for one more. the tractor that I have is a TO20, I am curious to know if this tractor is suppose to have emblems on the side of the hood. the reason I ask is because on both side of the hood towards the seat are there are two holes on each side of the hood like there should be something there. If so I would like to know where I could possibly purchase a set of these from. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I have a TO-20 that my father bought new in 1949. It does not have the side emblems nor does it have any holes to mount them. The later production years of the TO-20 did have the side emblems.

Yes, they did.
As the link in the other post show, those are correct.
One note: The TO 20's side emblems will ONLY say "Ferguson"--while on the TO30's they will say "FERGUSON 30"
Gotta love the Fergy>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I have seen hood side emblems available on this and several other web sites, and E bay stores, not cheap but available.
I have a similar question, I recently bought a 1949 To-20 SN2646,so fairly early production. It does not have hood side badges either, but there are no existing holes to mount. There is a row of holes across the top of hood over battery with nothing in them. Does anyone know if all TO-20's had side badges? or were they added later? I have spent some time looking thru tractor photos section of this site and came up with as many questions as answers.

The holes across the top of the dash under the hood are for rubber bumpers for the hood. I got mine out of McMaster Carr but you might find some in a PICK-A-NUT assortment at a hardware store or parts house. I can't lay my hands on the number right now.

This site, US$57.35:

(I actually bought a set of TO20 hood side emblems to replace the attrocious printed aluminium "labels" screwed onto TEA20's delivered in Australia.)

Keith, the ones on this site are actually a little bit cheaper than the ones on ebay. I have needed just a left side one but, so far, haven't found one. There is also a Ferguson plate on the front of the hood. I have 2 of those after I bought one thinking I was getting the left side plate and it turned out to be the front badge. Best Regards, Jack
