Hello,,,I put a Wagner loader on my TEA 20 using a Ferguson hydraulic control which was used with the Ferguson loader. It just has up pressure cylinders on it. If I don,t lift the loader to the maximum height it releases and comes down with the hydraulic control. When I lift the loader to maximum height I have to loosen off a hydraulic line a little before it will come back down?? Hope someone can help with this problem,,, Thanks Ian

Not certain what you are trying to say here, do you mean that you are using a spool valve to operate the loader and if you allow it to go to maximum height the loader will not drop until you release some pressure from a line. OR are you using the normal tractor control lever and when it gets to the top it will stick until you release some pressure?..John

Thanks for the reply John,,,,, ,I know that post was a bit confusing. I,m using the tractor hydraulic control with a unit that bolts to the cover where you check the differential oil. Not a spool valve but has a release port when the tractor hydraulic lever is all the way down. The unit that bolts to the dip stick side cover is used with the Ferguson U 2 ?? loader. Yes it sticks in the fully extended position only. Hope this is a little clearer for you. Thanks Ian

Ok I get what you mean, you have a Drop Valve that makes the loader drop quickly, I will need to see a picture of the type you have as the US type was different from the UK type. There are two types that I have seen, one is adjustable so you can control the speed of drop and the other appears to be able to be locked in one position or the other so it will perform as a normal drop or a quick drop. There are a couple of valves inside and one of these could be stuck after all this time, I don't have much on this at all but if you want what I have I will send it, just email me....John
I think it was the L-UO-20 Loader in the USA.
PS why do you want to use this valve, any particular reason, a loader will drop without using one of these?

Hello John,, The reason I hooked up the hydraulic lines to the Drop Valve is because it was already on the tractor, there really isn,t a need for it though. I,ll take the Drop Valve apart and try to fix it. If I can,t fix it I,ll just use a tee fitting. I,d appreciate getting the information you have on this Drop Valve,,,It is a Canadian tracor imported from England if that makes any difference?? Thanks for now Ian

Hi Ian,Really there isn't a need for the valve to be in the Hydraulic circuit on a normal loader, there is enough weight to enable it to drop fast enough and if you use the correct grade of oil it will be ok for you. You will have to email me direct so that I have your email address to send it to, no need to write your actual address I can just return it with your mail. The Canadian Tractors are just the same as the UK tractors as they were manufactured in Coventry UK unlike the US tractors that had a few differences and were manufactured in Detroit, even so some of the parts do interchange. Just email me and I will send you what info I have on this valve..John
