Interesting interesting..... You have a TE-20/TO-20 engine with a TEA serial number. The general feeling is that there were no true TE-20 tractors made after SN 48000. That they were all letter series tractors. However there have been a few reported TE-20's with SN's in the mid 80000's talked about here lately. There is also a good chance you have a replacement engine. Do you have the engine serial number? the data plate is located under the 4th spark plug. The K 13 W is a casting code. Where was it located. The K 13 is probally October 13th. I am not sure of the W but it would translate to the year. Could you post a left side photo of your engine and fuel tank? with the hood open. also can you crawl under the tractor and look at the casting on the front of the engine undet the fan belt/water pump. Is this housing rounded and solid on the bottom, or is it flat and have holes hor bolts or another attachemnt? Finally is the transmission housing aluminum or steel? Look for rusting or no rusting. I am thinking it is aluminum based on you foot plat pictures. you have enough paint knocked off you should be able to tell. Finally... Did I say that already. What do the distributer wires look like? are they slip on or screw on types? Could you post a picture of your data plate?
