I bought a property that came with a TE20 -- was running good but currently has fuel link blockage. Not mechanical so not sure how to describe this. Has blade and bucket, and also 'grader'? blade on back and optional harrow (also chains). Body work not mint condition for sure but functional. I need to sell/trade for something I can handle. Have no idea how to even start to price this and what to say/describe. Anyone help me?

You got three responses and it's been five days. It would be nice if you gave us some feedback.

Thanks for comments folks and suggestions -- will get tractor running before I proceed. Info you gave me will help me determine the specifics I need to describe to sell it.

I think after you learn the tractor 1/2 a day you would be very happy with it.They are very simple and user friendly.Fuel line blockage is a very easy fix even if you are not mechanical.
-Also if the tractor is not running you will not get much out of it.
1)There is a little sight glass under your gas tank=is this full of debris? Is the gas turned on there?
-We can help you get this running very quickly

By "fuel link blockage", I assume you mean that something is shutting off fuel to the carburetor? Thats usually an easy fix. Even if you had a shop fix the problem, it would still be way cheaper and easier than selling the tractor, not getting much money for it because it doesn't run or runs poorly, then turning around and buying another tractor which may have problems of its own. I would encourage you to bite the bullet now and get it fixed. The tractor may run well enough that you decide to keep it. If you do keep the tractor, just remember that everyone on this forum is willing to help you as best as we can. If you still decide to sell it, you're guaranteed to get way more money for it running.

Big ticket items of interest would be condition of motor, condition of hydraulics, and rear tires. Those are usually what cost the most money to fix. (Tranny rarely is a problem, but that could be an issue too.) You need to describe those items. If it isn"t running right now, you need to get it running so you can describe how it runs or your price will be way down. As I understand, it has a loader on it, with front bucket, and it has a scraper blade on the back and an optional box blade for the rear also, and it comes with tire chains? Right? The condition of the loader, i.e., the operation of it and what type it is (such as does it have a pump on the front or is it hooked to the rear hydraulics) is a factor in price. The back blade and box blade are easy to sell, separate or included with overall sale, but they don"t usually break so their condition is not so important. Also, you need to state your location, as that affects price.
