some time ago my rear lift problem was aired and solved by way of this forum(thanks to all who helped) now seeing how the rear pump on my TO also powers the front loader I would like to add a crankshaft driven pump to again give me the proper control while working either end. Is ther any brand more suited to the TO than another? And how is the hood to remain functional with this added projection in the front? thanks DavePA

Most if not all the front mounted pump parts and probably the whole pump assemble can still be bought at any tractor dealer that sells TISCO parts. I bought the shaft, mounting bracket on the front pulley, flex joint and a couple other parts for the pump on my To30/wagner loader. The pump shaft goes through the grille, thru the crank support and attaches to the front crankshaft pulley. The pump itself hangs on brackets made onto the Wagner frame. I don't know about the hinged grille that others talk about because mine is not hinged, the top comes off and like the other comments here, I'm about ready to chop a hole in the hood for the gas fill. What a PITA every time you want to fuel up.

Fran, as with your loader my pipe design also keeps my hood from tilting forward. I have a near perfect hood and really hate to cut a fuel door unless I or someone else can come up with a clean way of doing so. Just maybe, some type of underside mounted hindge at top of grille assembly can be fabricated to give me the tilt feature that I would like to have. Feel free to air your ideas----DavePA

What a great thought Dave! Hinging the front of the hood at the top of the grill. Right now my hood sits loose and unbolted on the tractor. I have to hoist it up to fill the fuel tank. To think I've been a mechanical engineer for over 20 years and I didn't even consider something as simple as this! Of course the Wagner loader frame has a top tube in front of the steering wheel, so maybe it can't tilt as much as I would like it too. Isn't it great we have forums like this to spread our ideas. I'll take a look at it tonite, since my hood and grill are off my tractor for a repaint.

Fran
