I am restoring a Fergusson two furrow disc plough. I am missing the trailing wheel spring, which is ether a coil spring or on the early ones I am told they had a leaf spring. I need a drawing or parts list so I can determine the correct spring, plus contact details anyone anywhere who may have the right parts. My plough is smaller than this one pictured in Australia. You didn"t say what model plow it is, but if it"s a P-AO-20 or 21 this might help. The scan is from the parts book and it looks like the spring is a leaf-type, bottom r/h corner parts 6, 7, and 8. Part #"s are 660 146(7)(8) M1, but I have no idea where you could get them. There is also a page for counterweight springs, which are spiral, but it doesn"t sound like that"s what you need. I hope this helps.

Many thanks for the scanned page, it most helpful. Looking closely at the parts I think I have the spring model, but when it is daylight (night time here in NZ) I will check the model number and get back to you.
Thank you for your prompt response.

This site has a couple of 2 disc plows with pictures. One is a Ford, many Fords were very simular to ferguson.

Might be worth a look see!!

Many thanks Fred for your help and interest. I have checked all the disc ploughs on that wqeb site and none look like the Fergusson or have a good view of the trailing wheel. Have look at this one in Australia with the large barrel top frame.

The one I have is just like that.great to see some great helps on this board. I am planning to do up the disc plough, to be used behind a Farmall Super BM (the British version) currently in bits and a Nuffield Universal 3. Here in NZ our old tractor source was mainly the United Kingdom.
