I am disabled now need to sell this tractor. I am the third generation owner. I know it works, has extra equipment, but needs new front tires. I need to establish a value for sales purposes. Any help will be most appreciated. I am selling the farm too.

"Post-war Massey-Harris "22," "30," "33," "44" and "55." To take advantage of the post-war farming boom, Massey brought out a new line that, for the first time, featured engines that they built themselves (as opposed to buying from other manufacturers). This line was introduced in 1946 and continued until around 1955. This was also the first line of Massey tractors that featured their red color styling. The "22" was rated at – as you might expect – 22 horsepower on the drawbar. The "30" produced 26 HP, and was built until '52 when it was replaced with the "33" with 35 HP. The "44" was tested at 39 HP, and was upgraded to the "44 Special" from '53 to '55 with 43 HP. The "55" produced between 52-57 HP depending on the type of fuel. Between 1948 and '58, Massey also produced the "744" and "745" in Great Britain, both with around 46 HP."

Therefore mine has 26 hp. It was built in late 1951 based on the serial number.

Also I have a blade that goes with this tractor.

You are going to have to tell us more to get a decent price estimate. Also mention your location, as that can affect price. These tractors in running condition vary from about $750 to $3200.

I live about 50 miles south of St. Louis, MO in a rural area. There is a brush hog and a disc that go with it. It has been kept in my garage during the winter and out of the elements. My cousin painted the hood gray (not my idea). If I were not selling the farm I would keep it and let others use it on my farm.

Go Cardinals!! Although I'm in Virginia, I've been a big St.Louis Cards fan for over 50 years. As for the tractor, still don't know much. I'm assuming it is running decently and the tires are decent and the hydraulics work ok. If so, the tractor might be in the $1800 to $2400 range. This is the right time of year to sell it and especially to sell a bush hog and disk. A bush hog in good shape usually brings about $300 and a disk maybe another $300 if it the type with two gangs of disks. But again, much depends on condition of everything. Hope that helps.

Yes it runs well including hydraulics, but absolutely needs new front tires. I've been a lifelong fan; even got to see them play in the World Series in KC. I had a seat about 5 rows back behind home plate!!! Too bad we got clobbered.
Thanks for the info.!!!!!
