Can someone tell me what is the difference between the radiator for the TO20 and the TEA20 other than the $100.00 in cost. AI shown the same core size, Sparex calls out the same part number for TO20 as YT does for the TEA20. Any insight would be helpful.

I just replaced the "RAD" on my T020. Itlooks as if I got one for the TEA. The cap is bigger. The bottom bolts are welded in place is the main difference I found. The drain is in about the same place. All that is assumeing the one I replaced was original...I found a good used one for $90 with shiping.

Why bother with a drain cock at all? A hundred bucks is a hundred bucks.
If you need to clean the radiator out why not just take the bottom radiator hose off and flush the thing out like many other automotive radiators.

If the drain cock is in the way then you could remove it and plug it.

Or spend the extra hundred bucks and have the original part. You'll probably forget about the extra expense after the second or third season. Go with your gut feeling.

After a few calls to a local Massey Ferguson dealer I think we found the only difference between the two radiators. On the TEA20 the drain cock is on the bottom of the rad on the TO20 it is on the rear right. Now I have a $100.00 question. How do you access the drain cock on the TO20's is there enough room between the rad and the front axle? Can I plumb in an elbow and drain cock it looks like there is enough room for that.

Thanks for the info Andy. Every little bit of knowledge helps. Now I wonder if I can remember that if someone else has that question in another week or so. LOL Probably not at least I know I can go to the posts and find it or to the archives. Richard

Andy, I just looked in my parts book and it is showing the TO 20, TO 30, TE20, TEA-20-80, TEA 20-85 all take the same part number as far as the radiator goes. I am sure others will be along shortly and let you know for sure. That part number was 181 623 M1.
