Need to rebuild the clutch on my to35 MF. The shop manual does not list the rebuild parts. As long as I have it out I am thinking on the following:

1) Both the 11 and 9 in friction plates
2) The 12 coil springs and insulating washers

Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Forget trying to repair an old clutch they get too bad. Even if you buy a rebuilt clutch assy, which really is the best thing to do as everything will be worn, just think how many times the pedal has been pushed up and down??? You do need to set the Clutch to the flywheel, you can't just attach it to the flywheel and hope that it will work, it needs to be adjusted as the flywheels do vary slightly and so do the Clutch Plates, just enough to throw the settings out of the levers and the clearance on the PTO clutch. There is very little room for error on these Clutches. I have the information for setting the Clutches and the diagrams for making the tools to do it, I would need to know what engine you have in the Tractor and if it is a plain flywheel or has it got cooling slots in the rim. You would have to email me direct so I have your email address to:-fergusontractors@tiscali.co.uk John

After replacing the springs, the pressure plate asemblies need to be set up with a jig. It would be easier to buy rebuilt assemblies if you don't have that jig.

Valu-bilt has the clutch plates and pressure plate assemblies individually or as a kit, all rebuilt parts. Likely YT and other vendors of MF parts have them also.
