Hi folks, My TO20 is still stalling after it runs for about 10 to 15 minutes. Many of you have told me that the likely problem is fuel starvation. I'm finally ready to agree! My question now is: How do I go abiut flushing the gas tank? Is there a chemical I need or a certain procedure that I use? Also, where can I get ZangThang info? Thanks, Alan

Had the same problem with my TO-20. I found the sediment bowl body was clogged with some lint looking stuff. This sediment bowl had no screen filter in the tank. I bought another sediment bowl that had a screen filter on the top of it. The screen was open on the top so I cut off about an inch of the pipe going up through the screen (this cuts down on the amount of reserve in the tank) and folded the screen over so there was no opening and put it back together. I havn't had the problem since.

Alan: Hi. You may want to do a search of the YT forum archives and see what others have addressed in the past. This issue comes up pretty regularly. My recommendation is to remove the float bowl/fuel shut off hardware at the bottom of the tank (have you done this already?) and place a funnel or something to catch any gas that is in the tank. Examine this hardware and the screen before assuming that it is the tank. If that doesn't yield results, determine whether you have any debris, varnish or rust in the tank. Depending on what you find, you may need to coat the inside of the tank, or just have the tank flushed and properly cleaned. There are specialty shops that can handle this, but the YT forum archives contain some product information and where to get your tank coated. Let us know what you find--start with the simple first before progressing to the more costly and time-consuming...Good luck, David
