Just want your experience guys. How wide (and heavy) backblade is possible to use behind a TEF20 for removal of snow?

Gunnar.

I have used a 7' blade in Northern NY for the last 5 years. The machine will drag snow up to 8" or so and it allows me to angle the blade to the side and it is still wide enough to be wider than the 5' tractor. I clear a 900' driveway and the angle comes in handy. You can always cut it shorter if needed. I do most clearing going forward as these things aren't grand in reverse when the snow gets deep or heavy and you GOTTA HAVE CHAINS. Plowing without them will cut your ability by 1/3 or more, I know I have misplaced mine a few times. A Zane Thang is also quite helpful for $80.
