Just finished a clutch job on TE20 Perkins Diesel due to excessive jerking when attempting to move off.
I replaced pressure plate, throwout bearing and clutch plate.I think I have adjusted pedal engagement correctly, but still cannot get a clean take off. (its much better) Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.

Snap, I had the same problem except mine was due to oil seeping through from the input shaft oil seal . I replaced the plate and pressure plate release bearing ind spiggot bearing and jumpy clutch still with me but it settled down after a good few runs and a wee while on a dynometer adjusted to only give a medium load to the engine and lett it really heat up the engine and clean out the carbon as well as bed in the clutch . Hey it was fun listening to the governor work on the P 3 engine and watch the sparks start to fly from the Exhaust .
