cane you remove the power takeoff shaft by unbolting at the rear pulling straight out.
i guess i need to know if this will come out of the hydrlic pump with out comming a part. the pump has a brokin part on the top need to get it out. plate on the bottom of the tractor is holding the pump in . thanks bob

The PTO shaft comes out the back ,remove 4 bolts holding it in . If you remove the pump or top lift you need to unhook the linkage from the pump. Acces via hand hole covers . Can be difficult to spread the forks to unhook from the control valve in bottom if you have fat fingers.

Just thought this might help, but when I tried to disconnect the forks, I foung it difficult from the inspection covers, sooo, I got 2 screwdrivers, drained the oil, and using the hole below the forks, used the screwdriver in my lart hand to push the right fork, and the screwdriver in my right hand to push the left fork. Worked VERY well.
