I recieved and installed the ZANE THANG a couple of weeks ago. Its like Jim says and it works. Good for bush hoggin, rakin, rear blade, etc. Check the ZANE THANG web site. Zane will ship it for 80.00 total.

Hi Barry,
It's a rod that provides feedback from the right hand lift arm to the control lever through a fricton block. So if the lift arm drifts down a bit, the control lever is raised to compensate. It's a bit fancier than that explanantion but that's basically it. The idea is that you can set an implement at a certain height and it will stay there so you don't have to keep fiddling with the control lever. It would be useful for something like a one-wheel bush hog, but you wouldn't need it for an implement that just needs to be up or down. I bought and received one but haven't installed it yet, as the instructions say you should first get your hydraulic system working so that the control lever operates near the top of the quadrant. So before I can use my $107 (US) gizmo I have some repairs to attend to, but it looks like it will do the job very nicely, and everyone swears by them...
