I'm looking at a Ford 8600... Runs good, master
cyl for brakes bad....

I will be using it to care for 40 acres, mostly grass
Any comments you about the in's and outs of this
tractor is appreciated.. It shows 10,000+ hours
but there is evidence it has been split. It starts
well, runs smooth, has a few leaks... It came from
a large farm in South Carolina... The current owner
has had it about 6 months and it is to big for his
landscaping business... It would appear the engine
has been rebuilt... as well as the injector pump..

Sheet metal good, (needs paint) hyd good, tires fair...
What is a fair price... I'm in Atlanta, GA

Thank you for the help and guidance.... This is
my first tractor... Probably larger than I need
but at least I won't have to buy a bigger one later...

Thank u Berch

check to see if the pto clutchs and shaft have been replaced they cost 1400 dollars with labor value would probably be about 9000 If a lot ofwork was done to it otherwise 4500. there are a lot of parts t wear out on these bigger tractors. does it have added on turbo? If it does forget it.
