We recently bought a ford tractor believed to be a 2000...not sure. It's blue, 4-speed! How can we find out what model and year it is. Is there a way?

Look on the left side of the tractor, on the flat spot at the front of the transmission. There you will see a series of numbers stamped into the housing (might have to remove some paint, rust, etc.). The top numbers will indicate the model, the bottom numbers will indicate the serial number. Good Luck.

P.S.: It's good to see a post from someone in the same time zone as me. I'm in Gresham, Oregon.

These are casting numbers. Continue to check on top of the flat spot, left side, front of transmission.
