Hello, I just discovered this board.
My grandfather and his first wife bought a farm in 1922. He got a Fordson tractor. Then eventually he got an 8N. In 1976 or so, the 8N was stolen. He replaced it with an NAA which I remember well. I even drove it and brush-hogged with it for him. I have a picture of it too. Now here is my question:
This tractor, as far as we know, was always gray and blue. That's what it is in my picture. But all literature that I have read, (and pictures too) show gray and red (not gray and blue). So what's going on (besides the possibility of the thing having been repainted)? Is it possible it was gray and blue when it was new? Did they make them that way? I know it was an NAA, and not a newer model. Unfortunately he sold it, along with a half dozen or so impliments, for $1500 back around 1987. He died in 1994 a month before his 99th birthday. I would like to get the color straightened out. Some day I would like to own an NAA.
Please E-MAIL your responses, since I don't regularly visit this board.
Thanks,
Barry C.

The correct colours are red & grey. Here is a site that will tell you the colours for all the parts, and has all kinds of ford tractor stuff.
