I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING A TRACTOR FROM A GUY. HE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT IT IS. I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL SERIAL NUMBERS ON IT. THEY ALL START WITH NAA. THE ONE ON THE LEFT FRONT OF FLYWHEEL HOUSING HAS NAA77606. SOMEONE TOLD ME THIS IS WHERE I WOULD FIND THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE TRACTOR. THE MEDALLION ON FRONT OF TRACTOR HAS STARS AND WHAT LOOKS LIKE WHEAT SHOCKS. SOMEONE ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD SAY JUBILEE IF IT WAS ONE. IT DOESN'T SAY THAT. HAS OVERHEAD VALVE ENGINE. EMBOSSED FORD ON BOTH SIDES OF HOOD AND ON BOTH REAR FENDERS. LOOKED UP THE SERIAL NUMBER AND IT MATCHES FOR A 1954 GOLDEN JUBILEE. CAN I GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME WITH THIS?

If you have visited Dan's Resource Page, the you know you have a 1954 NAA. The 1953 model NAA was the Golden Jubilee, named in honor of Ford's 50th Anniversary(1903-1953). They are the same tractor, save for the nose emblem, and are usually both referred to as Jubilee's. To be 100% accurate, the 1953 is the only true "Jubilee" model.

To purists, a '54 NAA is not a Golden Jubilee model (although it is the same NAA tractor). The true Golden Jubilee's were '53 NAA's. The quickest way to tell (other than checking the serial number) is to check for "Golden Jubilee" on the medallion. '53 NAA's have it, the rest don't.
