This weekend I filled the gas tank on my 3000 and discovered a major leak. Fuel was running down the back of the tank - behind the dash. Dropped the fuel to about 3/4 of a tank, then stopped. Since I can't see the tank I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. What am I looking at for repairs? How much of a job will it be to get to the tank? I only get to the country place every few weeks and was depending on the tractor for snow removal. Any help would be appreciated.

That epoxy putty that says just knead it together & apply to the fuel tank does actually work - have it on a diesel tank for over 10 years, going strong. If you want to go this route, and your leak is apporopreate for such repairs.
