Have to replace the axle seals soon and wanted to know if there is anything I should look out for. I have the IT manual and it looks fairly straightfoward. Thanks in advance and you all have a good one.

The seals on the last one I worked on are built into the axle bearing and they always seem to leak quickly and ruin the brakes. I found out from my dealer that Ford produces an extra cone seal to stop the leak. You might try that.

I hav just replaced the seals on my NAA! Look at the old ones and remember which way they face. The new seals from NH do not look like the old ones that came off my tractor. I assume new technology has altered the seal construction.
