Ok Richard, look at the front of the radiator, are there ridges cast into the toppiece of the radiator, if so it is a model N. If there are no ridges below the name fordson on the front of the rad it is most likely a model F. Is there any paint left on the tractor? Model F tractors were only grey with red wheels. Model N tractors could have been orange, green or blue. Also, we can't rule out that it may be an E27N considering the fact someone has retrofitted a V-8 engine into it. E27N tractors are much higher standing units than model F's and N's. If there is an 'E27N' cast into the front axle we know what we have. Look and see if there is just one pedal or if there is indeed a clutch pedal and brake pedal(s) that would help narrow this down a bit. F and N models had no brake pedal. Some later F's and the N's did however have a transmission brake. E27N tractors had wheel brakes. Keep me posted!: : : Richard: : : I'll need a bit more information before I can help you. The V-8 is definately not stock if it is a Fordson. Does the radiator have 'FORDSON' cast into it? If so, are there vertical reinforcing ridges cast just under the name fordson or is it just smooth? Are you sure the tractor is not an N series with the Funks V-8 conversion. Let me know and I'll try to help you out. : : : Need help to find out what year this fordson mit be. Some parts have 192? on them, some have 1938. Tractor as a V/8 , rubber tires, no fenders and large wheel weights on all 4 wheels. Some parts are Engish and some are American . No serial # found yet. Thanks for any help . : Don, I only have a little more info. The casting is smooth on side of rad. housing. The wheels look like they are conceret, with the tires on that. The tires are flat so there not poured with cement. Fordson is stamped all over the tractor so know it is a fordson. Thanks for any more help you can give us ,..... Richard
