841 Industrial Just Yellow?

I am going to look at what I've been told is an 841 Industrial with ps and a front end loader. I've heard different things as to whether the "Industrial" model was just an 841 pulled off the line and painted yellow, or whether there were actual differences --- such as a heavier front axle.

Which is it? Is there any advantage of having an Industrial model over a regular model with a front end loader?

Is the 4-speed transmission any draw back compared to the 5-speed when it comes to slow speed utility work? Is 1st gear of the four speed just as slow as 1st gear of the 5-speed?

Thanks for your help.

I have an 1841 industrial, a 59 model I believe.
The front axle is a heavy cast non-adjustable, the
only other differene that I know of is it also has
a cast iron nose/grill instead of sheet metal. I'm not sure on the color, mine was a bright canary yellow when I bought it, I saw in a New Holland dealer a picture of Ford industrial tractors that showed one that looked just like mine painted red/gray so that is how I painted it, but in doing the prep work before painting I noticed a pale yellow under the sheet metal and blue on the cast pieces. Post back here if you have more ?'s that I might be able to answer as my email is down

I have a 2000 industrial , 1963, that I believe is close to your tractor. The only difference I can tell is the front axel is heaver than the regular axel . It is also a non adjustable axel as well. I have the 4 speed trans and it works just fine for just about everything I ask of the tractor. The 5 speed trans was equipt with live power on the pto shaft ,where the 4 speed was not. My Dad had a 800 with a 5 speed and loader and the 5 speed was a little handier because you could shift from 3rd gear to reverse by moving the shifter front to back. Hope this helps out, Bill
