Hi!

I'am looking for information about ford's wheel loaders 1960-70. In sweden they are called Gigantic F30, F40 and so on.

Hope you know something about these machines, I know this isnt proberly the right forum, but somebody can perhaps point me in the right direction.

Have tried searching the net for more info on them but no luck, I guess they where called something else in other countries?

I have a ford gigantic F40 with a ford 5000 diesel engine and 4 wd drive, would like more info about these machines.

Also a good source for parts would be great!

Best regards
Anders Sweden

Hello Anders

A year has gone since this thread was created, hope you receive e-mails when there"s a new message.

Don"t know how much you"ve dug up, but the tractors were modified in Sweden, based on some regular Ford tractor. I may be able to give you a few models to choose from, if you can reply to my message.

For spare parts, Link seems to be a good source, even though they currently only have an F30.

I haven't ever seen a loader like that in the U.S. Ford made their tractors for the European market in Great Britian. It looks like something made by somebody else using a Ford Engine
