I have a heck of a problem with my 3 point on my Ford 3000 when the weather turns cold. It becomes very sluggish and at times does not work at all. If I heat up the rear end she works well once again. Is there anything I can add to the hydralic oil or is this some other problem? I would appreciate any help you could throw my way.

You can either change to viscosity of the oil to a lighter oil @ 10 weight or add a couple of quarts of kerosene to the lift oil. It wont hurt to be a little overfull as long as it does'nt get the level over the axles and cause them to leak.
I understand their is also a newer grade of oil for the lift trans etc called 134? It is lighter in viscosityu
