Hello Guys:
I have just recently bought a Ford County Tractor in Mexico and I have not been able to find a service manual for it. This tractor is 4 X 4 and is pretty strong. Can anybody tell me the horse power of the tractor and where I can find parts for it. Any help would truly be appreciated. Thank You

We have a 1164. We bought it new in 1971 from Long Lake Ford, Long Lake, MN.

It has a generator on it now which is not working or the regulator is not working. We would like to convert it to an alternate system.

Does anyone have experience with converting them.

Also we would like to mount a snow plow on the front. Anyone have experience with this.

WE ARE DOING A RESTORATION OF A COUNTY 1164 AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND AN ORIGINAL FRONT GRILL FOR IT WITH THE "COUNTY" LETTERING AT THE TOP. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP. WE WOULD BE WILLING TO PAY A GOOD PRICE TO BE ABLE TO FINISH THIS PROJECT.

I"m from Belgium and I have a Ford County 1164. This tractir is 116 hp and bilt in England. The factury is closed in the early 80's. I have pore than 50 deferent brochures of diferent county tractors. If you are interested, you can mail me.

County types are easy to explain:
1164= 116hp 4= 4wd
Manual maybe trough Ford dealers.
Parts: most of the parts are equal to ford 5000
but the special County parts are getting difficult
to find but in the UK still lots of stock

I have a 1979 County 1174 which was purchased new with a front blade.The tractor was delivered with a black front grill and no headlights, it also has a black pressure guage on the rhs of the dash board. Would these have been original county fixtures or adapted at the local dealer.What does the pressure guage indicate?
Any info would be very welcome?

I HAVE A FORD COUNTY 1164 WITH A BROKEN PART INSIDE THE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM HOUSING. I'M IN NEED A PARTS MANUAL TO INDENTIFY AND IF POSSIBLE ORDER A REPLACEMENT PART.
