I have a 9N that was running just great until night before last my Husband took it out used it then parked it in the drive now it won't start . I did a complete tune up points ,plug ,plug wires,condensor ,rotor ,and dist cap . Still won't start . It has some fire to the plugs . its getting fuel . I'm totally puzzled any help appriciated .

It's getting "some" spark or "good" spark? Is the spark at the plugs bright blue? Also, you might get more response posting this question on the N-board (same site). This one covers mainly Ford tractors manufactured after the N series.

No not yet I'm Covinced I've got a ground problem somewhere though cause there isn't any thing else to change out left now I'm going to go through and wire brush every thing tomarrow to make sure every thing thats suposed to be is making contact gotta have the other half help me get the hood back off though

I know little about mech. but I had a similar problem. The insulation on the ground wire(i think) coming out the bottom of the distributor had worn through and was grounding to the metal.
I had to remove the wire to see it. I had replaced lots of parts before an old timer related his experience to me.
