I have a NAA that did not originally have the pan seat supported by a flat spring that you usually see. This seat is supported on a togle mechanism resisted by two rubber torsion "springs" that were adjustable by means of a screw that pre-tensioned the "springs". one of these rubber parts has seperated and now the seat no longer supports the operators weight. What options do I have?

I picked up a 53 Dearborn Tractor Accesory Manual off EBAY a few weeks ago. It lists and shows pics of all the accessories for the NAA. The rest-o-ride seat is listed in there has an accessory.

I too would be interested in purchasing your rest o ride. I have one of those coil spring/shock absorber units all rebuilt if you're interested.

Once you have spent any time on the "Rest-O-Ride" you won't want to go back to the flat spring-steel pan seat. If you could find a Dearborn seat, they are not too bad. fwiw, ray

You have a "Rest-O-Ride" seat that I don't think was available until 1955. My Jubilee has the original flat spring seat while my 1955 860 has the rest-o-ride. Minn-Kota Repair can refurbish the rubber torsion springs for $110, exchange.

If you decide to go back to the flat spring, I'd be interested in buying your rest-o-ride. Richard

Hi Richard..

I have a Rest-O-Ride seat with one bad rubber shock bushing on my 62 Ford 2000. I might be interested in trading it for a flat spring set up with the fold over seat pan if you're interested.. Either post back here, or email me directly, since you did not provide your email address..

Regards

John Mitchell
