I have a 1957 Ford tractor which is a model 650. I have two problems with it, that I could use some help with. The first problem is after the tractor runs for about 30 minutes on a hot day, it loses power and wants to quit running. I can pull the choke out a little and the tractor starts running fine, as long as I hold the choke out a little. Someone told me that the gasoline line is to close to the muffler and that is causing the gas to vaporize, so I am not get a good feed of gas to the carburator. Can this be be the problem?

My second problem is with the hydraulics, after the tractor runs for about 30 minutes, I lose all prime. The tractor can not pick-up a 5 ft. bushog. What could be my problem? Seals, o-rings or both?

I think this is ignition not gas...most likely the coil. There have been quite a few coil discussions lately on the N Board.

good luck
