I have a 3cyl ford 4000 and have a leak in the oil pan gasket. I have already removed all but two of the bolts to drop oil pan.. The front two wont come out because of the front assembly. Is there some sort of trick to getting these two bolts out or am I going to have split the front from the engine to remove these two bolts.. If I have to split the front, will I have to totally spilt it or can I just loosen it some to get these bolts out...

Thanks in advance...

Wedge

You will need to at least roll the front end out a couple of inches. Get some longer bolts to replace the ones that are there so you can use them as dowels to slide the front end out without disconnecting such things as the radiator hoses, etc.
