The Ford service manual has several general torque values. For a 5/8" 18 pitch bolt they advise 130 to 145 ft lbs. If its a 1/2" coarse bolt, use 60-70 ft lbs. If its a 1/2" fine thread use 70-80 ft lbs.

They also make specific reccomendations on the front axle support to the engine at 250 to 270 ft lbs. The engine to front transmission has several values, 220 to 300 ft lbs at the top, 125 to 140 in the middle, and 35 to 50 at the bottom. The front transmission to rear axle is 65 to 85 at the top and bottom, and 40 to 55 on the sides.

Looks kinda complicated to me. You ought to visit a dealer who is willing to print out the diagrams for you. They always do it for me around here.

Go to oaks site for parts. He has many to choose among.

Good luck.
