Split my jubilee this past weekend to replace oil seal and main shaft bearing. The whole job went well. I have the main shaft out and want to replace the bearing and oil seal. Is the main bearing pressed onto the shaft? Mine seems to not want to move. I haven't tried to hard to remove the bearing untill I know if it is pressed on the shaft or should it slide off?

Most bearings in most transmissions are a press fit, usually requiring the use of either a puller and/or a press for removal. If a bearing does slide off by hand, look for damage in the bearing mating area of the shaft.
