I have an naa that just quits running for no apparent reason. I chkd for fuel & its getting plenty. Its getting spark! If I let it sit awhile it will start...run fine...then stop, no sputtering...just quit like you turned the key off. Carb problems maybe? Plz help!!!

Adam I also have a NAA and had the same thing happen to me. I thought I was getting plenty of fuel and had the same symptoms as yours. I pulled the fuel line off the carb and it had what I thought was good flow but only after it sat for a bit It turned out to be the fuel shutoff it became plugged with crude from the fuel tank I had to drain the tank then unscrew the shutoff assembly from the tank it has a tall fine screen check this for possible debris I used a fine stiff wire to clean out and then blew it all out with air. good luck Dan Z

Adam, Could be a carb problem, but I think it could also be your key switch, or coil. The next time it quits on you, use a jumper wire across the terminal block that the switch connects to and see if it will start and run. If this is not the problem, then I would try to change out the coil. Hope that helps.
