Does the gas and diesel crankshaft in a 801 have a crank balancer?

Thanks

I have a 841-Diesel with NO balancer ....1958 model ...later on in 1958 Ford added the front mounted balancer! My shop manual shows this change over and the serial number...there were many complaints of vibration, so they added that and that created more problems with needle bearings on the balancer!

But the cranks are interchangeable. I have a diesel crank in my 800 gas.

The diesel crank will work in a gas engine, but I doubt if I would want to try it with a gas crank in a diesel. It wouldn't be forged in the first place, and it wouldn't have the gear for the balancer that most of the diesels had.
