Does anyone have a parts list/picture of hinges, locks, etc. for the hood or fuel tank lid for a 621 tractor. When I bought this one, the "lid" was just sitting on the main hood. I would like to be able to latch it down. Thanks albe

In reply to "geb". I probably do not know the correct terminology yet. Near the starter it says "621" with the serial number. On the front of the hood, the emblem says "600". It does have PTO and 3PH. I guess it's really a 601 series? albe

I wasn't trying to be smart but I never heard of a 621, although I have seen a toy Ford 621. I am familiar with a 641, 651, 661, and a 671. However all of these will still have 601 on the hood. The different numbers indicate what type transmission and clutch the tractors have. What kind of transmision and clutch does your's have?

Thanx geb

This Ford tractor has "621" marked into the transmission housing with the serial number "153877" under that which indicates it was made about 1961. It a 4 speed transmission without the live PTO. This tractor has the PTO and 3 point hitch which a 621 should not have . It does have the "600" emblem on the hood. The dash contains a fuel gage which I believe was on the 621. So I either have a 640 with with a 621 transmission or a 621 with 640 sheet metal. Or possibly a 621 with optional equipment and a misplaced hood emblem. albe

I have some extra parts for attaching the lid.
If you can find out what you need, I might be able to help.

I just got back from the land (about 100 miles west of San Antonio). I think I need the front hinge part that bolts to the "main hood" and also the lid that kinda pivots with the lid. I have the rear one. I also need the round dowel that is part of the front latch. Nothing is hooked up. The lid is just sitting on the main hood. I can probably cobble up the rest of it if I can figure out how to remove the "main" hood. Do myou have a picture of how those parts should look? Any help is appreciatd. Thanks, albe
