Is the knob located on the top of transmission,
just under front of seat,to adjust the hydrolic
speed?
Tractor has loader.770A Seems to be slow. What is
correct rpm for efficient loader operation? Thanks, Ray

Do you have a picture of the mounting brackets for the Model 770A loader? I have a Model 1910 Ford tarctor and am trying to find out which is the right loader for it.

The knob is to adjust the 3 point hitch rate of drop, has nothing to do with any flow rate except OUT of the hitch cylinder. 1710's are not known for their astounding hyd flow rates, is your fluid & filter clean? Several potential problem areas, including pump, priority valve (power steering), power steering valve, suction restriction, loader valve, selector valve not fully counter-clockwise, etc, etc. Don't buy parts without pressure & flow tests. Your tractor has a gear pump, flow is directly porportional to engine RPM's.
