640 over charging-----not charging

I converted my 640 to 12 volts the alternator was chargine all the time, I disconnected the hook up, and reconnect it back, now it will not charge at all, If someone has a drawing of the proper way to wire it please send me a e mail, or post it. thank you

Thanks Rod. But I got it fixed the alternator was bad. Put a spare one I had and it working fine.
