I bought a Ford 3 pt. 2-row corn planter at a consignment sale a few weeks ago. It is a toolbar type planter, each unit driven by it's own press wheel. Just one of the fertilizer bins has 310 on it, must be the model number. I paid $105. It just needs paint. Came with 5 sets of plates. It has a very odd looking 6"-8" blade in front of the shoe. It almost looks like a short, wide culti-packer blade that flexes up and down. What is it for? One of the seed bins has a decal that says "Bridger Row-Runner" on it with a road-runner on it. I am thinking that is what the odd blades are. I will try to get a picture on here soon. Any help is greatly apprieciated.

I went there a few days ago and asked the same question and no response. So I thought maybe a Ford expert of sorts might not check out that board as often so I posted here.
