I looked up under manuals, Ford 960 and am intersted in the service manual and the parts manual. They are costly ($60 and $100). Are they Genuine Ford Manuals(produced by ford?)? I have 900, 800, and 600 series tractors and looks like these cover all those models.

I don't know about the manual sold on this site, but I agree they seem pricey. I bought a Ford reprint Shop Manual off ebay for about $18 two years ago. They seem to go for more now. The link is to a manual currently being sold on ebay in the $20-$25 range that's just like the one I bought. It's a good manual. Parts manuals are tougher to come by. I recently paid $40 for a parts manual that's used and has the cover held on with duct tape. There is also some one on ebay selling a set of manuals (shop, owners, carb, and some other minor ones) on CD. I asked him about a parts manual and he said he didn't have one that he could put on CD. If you're interested in that one, type in "Ford Tractor Manual CD" in the ebay search box and it should come up.

I have the shop manual and owner's manual on CD that Jim referenced..I love it. Have it at work and can easily print off what I need and then take it to the barn...after I'm thru I just toss it in the can. Very clear and prints off well...a pretty good bargain.
