I need to replace the rings and piston on the 3 pt lift cylinder on my Jubilee. I have heard many times about soaking the leather ring in hot water so it would stretch without tearing. The NH dealer gave me a piston, white colored o-ring, and a black neoprene ring to back up the o-ring. It's the right circumference and even has a slight indent on one side for the o-ring to lay in, BUT it surely isn't leather! Part # is NAA473A. Is this the correct part? Do I need to soak it in hot water? Thanks for helping.

Hi Bill, Yes this is the correct part , No you do not soak rubber in hot water , I prefer the rubber back up rings less chance of breakage. Thanks Tony Jacobs

When I did my 641 a year or so ago, my FNH dealer came up with leather (twice, because I wasn't careful when I stretched it.)
