I got a 3400 indutrial (gasoline) with front loader, and the exhaust manifold is cracked and rotten, needs replacement. It has a horizontal exhaust (comes out the bottom of manifold, goes down, turns and runs back under the axle. I order a horizontal manifold to fit 2000,3000,4000 model series (Part No: C5NE9430A) at Yesterdays Tractor, but it would not fit because the exit opening was about an 1" left of the original and will not clear the oil filter housing. Strange, I guess maybe the industrial had a bigger oil filter, anyway if any body knows where to get the proper part i would appreciate any help. Thanks

There is no difference in the oil filter between an Ag tractor and Industrial derivative of the same vintage. Early tractors had a cartridge filter, and late ones used a spin-on. As far as I know, the manifolds are the same for most all horizontal exhaust 3cylinder Fords, be they early or late, Ag or Ind. I think you just discovered one of the 'joys' of aftermarket parts. Price a manifold from a New Holland dealer, and add your aggravation value to the cost of the one you have(plus return shipping).

I replaced the manifold and muffler on my 3400. Got a manifold from Ford dealer. Paid more but it fit perfect. My exhaust goes vertically through a hole in hood. Also got new bolts and keepers.
