I have a 961 and I lost my hydraulics to the loader and 3 point. I found that the gear in the pump let go so I had it rebuilt at the dealer. I put the pump back on and still have no hydraulics. Do I need to bleed the system or prime the pump ? What else could it be.

Had a similar problem on my 901 Ford when I first rebuilt the pump. I took the pump back off and filled it with fluid and after reinstalling it it worked fine.

Yes, you must bleed the air out at the allen head plug on the front top of the pump.

Don't know your system, but logic says check the level of hyd fluid first, then check the relief valve...something could be stuck in it causing flow to go to tank.
