My tractor was working fine one day, the next it will not go. I put more hydralic fluid in i also adjusted the clutch. When i put it in gear it just sits & if you let it set a minute it will slowly start going. But as soon as you stop you have to let it sit and run again. not to familiar with tractors. Tried to read the manual. I was lost. Damsel in distress in Texas! please help!

If you adjusted the clutch and now it won't pull it sounds to me like the clutch may have been adjusted incorrectly and now there is not enough contact.

I agree. Need more info. We can't figure out if you have a standard or SOS transmission (adjusting the clutch and adding hyd. fluid don't seem to go together as a proper course of action). If you know the year of the tractor that would help also. My $.02

I TAKE IT YOURS IS A STANDARD TRANNY IF YOU ADJUSTED THE CLUTCH. WHEN EVER I AM DONE USING MY TRACTOR FOR THE DAY I WIRE DOWN MY CLUTCH PETAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. I'VE BEEN TOLD BY THE PERVIOUS OWNER AND OTHERS TO DO THIS. THE CLUTCHES ARE KNOWN TO STICK, AND DOING THIS CANT HURT. I KNOW THIS DONT HELP YOU BUT ITS SOMETHING THAT MAY HELP, FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD. GOODLUCK SANDY, JUST MY INPUT 4 YA :)

Is it a Select-O-Speed or manual? The SOS will do this when the pump filter is clogged but doesn't have a clutch, in the conventional sense. A manual has a clutch but either it moves when the clutch is released or something is broke. More information needed. Is it a 3 or 4 cylinder gas or diesel? 2000 could be either, depending on year.
