Remember the load you are carrying is your family.

My advise would be to get a 3 pt round bale carrier (not the kind with one spike but one with two). You can then slide a pallet onto the tines that has seats fastened to it. When not hauling people, you can put a plain pallet on for hauling other things. We also have a sheet of steel so we can haul sand, gravel dirt etc on the back. Check your local farm type store (TSC, Oschelen, etc) for an inexpensive one or use the measurements off one of theirs to build your own. That's What I did, works great.

They also will have a cheaper frame for a 3-point carry-all, all you do is bolt some planks on it. This will handle about 300#. Make sure the seats are bolted down, if you pop the clutch & folding chairs are used, they will fold up backwards & your loved ones will be slamming the pavement. - hard.
