I am looking at the subject tractor and would like some feedback. What's the weight/yard capacity of the 770B loader? I understand the tractor is rated 22H.P. with a 3 cyclinder deisel. I only need it to mow 12 acres and do lifting of dirt/rocks/mulch. Is it a workhorse or 3-legged dog?
Best regards,
Jim

These were made '83-'87,28.6 PTO H.P.,these "10" series tractors had POOR loader hyd., not much power, "20" seroes are much better. Or buy a Kubota, they are more money, but much better units, with more resale. Buy the way the 1910 bare tractor weighs 2830 lbs., hope this helps.

I have a 770B on my 4wd 1710, and it is a capable combo. Your 1910 is slightly more powerful than my 1710, but real close in size. The 770B loader is rated at 800 lbs., but I think that's a safety issue. I have weights on the rear wheels plus the tires are loaded and I have lifted boulders too big to go in the bucket (4 ft) by using a logging chan wrapped around hooks welded to the bucket. One of the boulders weighed around 1500 lbs, and even with the weight i was lifting the rear off the ground when i tried to move the tractor. Point is, the loader will actually lift more than is safe to fool with. As far as dependability, I have had zero problems with the 1710. Regular maintenance by the book is the key.

I think a 1910 is more like 27 pto hp. My 1710 is rated just under 24 pto hp. I don't know about the loader capacity but it likely is consistent with the tractor. My 1710 has an Allied 195 loader that is on the small side for the tractor. I believe its rating is 800-lbs. full height. A loader for a 1910 likely is greater.

Generally a tractor of that size seems to be a pretty good match for jobs like 12-acres of mowing and some loader work. Options 4wd, PS and the 12 x 4 synchromesh TX helps with loader and mowing work. The regular non-synchromesh TX lacks a live PTO but has an internal over-running clutch. Lack of a synchromesh reverse would be a pain for back and forth loader work.
