This is my first time at post a message. I have just recently purchaced my Jubilee and the PTO hydraulics are'nt working right, when I put a bushhog on it will not lift it up. It attempts to by lifting 4-5 inches but will not lift the back wheel off the ground does the pump that is mounted on the right side of the engine need to be rebuilt. What do I need to look for when I tear it down Thanks

Mark, it could be lots of things. It could be the cam follower pin, which often wears. You will have to remove the top cover (under the seat) to replace that. Look in the archives for all the possibilities. Zane probably can give you some good advice, so one tip might be to search for his name.

Where do I find archives at. Do you think I can rule out the hydr. pump mounted on the right side of the engine

No, I would not rule out the pump completely. But, it is much easier to work on the other end and there are more suspects there. You can even look into the hydralic fill port or partially drain the hydralic fluid and remove the side inspection ports and see if there is a leak (such as at the pressure relief valve).

To get to the Archives try "Search This Site" under "Research & Info" on the left edge of this window.
