The 12R number is a casting number and is not useful to buy a rebuild kit with, as far as I know. There should be other numbers, stamped on top of the fuel bowl, on the right ride of the carb. There are two different part numbers, the Ford number (something like C9NN 9510B, or C7NN, etc.) I haven't heard of a Holley on a 3000 that didn't have the 9510 part of the number, though I'm no expert. The letter at the end is important, it distinguishes jetting, etc. and changes between, 2000 (A), 3000 (B), 4000 (C), 5000 (D) tractors even when the other numbers don't. There should also be a LIST number, that number is how Holley describes the carb, it's useful if you can't find the rebuild kit at a tractor supply place. A good Carburetor shop should be able to get the parts using the LIST number. Good luck.
