did i forget to say you will need about a quart and half of pwr strg fluid from any car parts.. and of course a drain pan to catch the mess..

just had the same thing happen.. the return fluid is force through a filter and then into the resevoir.. the filter has a piece of paper cover wrap around the outer layer with little holes it it.. this paper covers the pleats.. if you can see the pleats, the outer paper has fallen off and the fluid returning will no squirt up and onto the resevior vent.. meaning you have a mess..

get a filter replacement kit which includs the large o-ring and filter.. remove the two lines and compressions fittings. remove the bolt in the center of the pwr strg housing. pull the reservoir back, cleaning all the dirt off first.. and when off, simply pull off the old filter, replace the large o-ring and reinstall..

you new holland dealer gets about $12.30 for the kit or you can buy elsewhere for $8.50 and pay shipping. NH part no edpn3k758a
