those would be the wrong fenders for the 1955 tractor. The clam shaped ones in 55-57 early 58 are bigger and are not the same. bill

LUKE THE FENDERS I'M LOOKING FOR MADE BE OLDER BUT I WILL TRY TO DISCIBE THEM TO YOU. THE FENDERS I NEED ARE THE LARGE ONES THEY START OUT AT THE BASE BY THE AXLE ANS GENTLEY CURVE IN TOWARDS THE TIRE THEN COME BACH IN TOWARD THE SEAT. AS THEY GET TO THE TOP OF THE TIRE THEY HAVE A BIG ROLL OUT OVER THE INNER 1/3 OF THE TIRE. THEY GOT THE FORD IN SCRIPT IN THE UPPER CENTER OF THE FENDER I'VE HEAR THEM CALLED CLAM SHELLS OR ELEPHANT EARS. I'LL GIVE YOU MY E-MAIL ADDRESS IF YOU WANT TO RESPOND OR SEND PICTURE. YOU MAY HAVE JUST WHAT I NEED THANK RICK

I am sure you can make alot more money selling it in the classifieds than sending it to the junk as low as prices are now, it can't be in that bad of shape, let someone else enjoy a project.

rick,

it took mel a ong time to find a good set of fenders for my 840 and they were worth the wait. have you subsrcibed to the n-series newsletter yet? and placed an ad there?

and, you will need to be patinet and one or two eventually show up. and, dont be afraid to send them back too to a person if they are pulling the wool over your eyes. theres a lot of good parts guys out there, but i have had some bad luck with some guys that place ads to sell items here too. becareful of a guy in Clyde, New York. He not only has sold bad parts, but mouths off to you and sends nasty e-mails about being ingrateful person and trying to steal parts and the like. even after I send him money he refused to send my money back after sending the part bac k to him. use a postal service money order because the postal service does not like mail fraudulent people. keep trying and they will come your way its a part of antique restorations and makes you appreciate the tractor more after hard work and a lot of searches pavemenet poubnding dead ends, lots of phone calls and sleepless nights dreaming of fenders than your wife.
