I have posted about this tractor before. Has Dodge slanting 6 engine in it. The guy says, of course says it works good. Actually, all he has done with it is move some truck frames with the boom. He has dropped the price to $800. I still don't know how this conversion affects the pto, if the clutch wouold hold up to plowing, etc..
The engine starts up and runs good. That is all I know about it at this point. And the alternator needs hooking up. I did notice the engine seems to slant a little forward;even though, it is bolted to the templates he fabricated to attach it to the tranny. I also worry about the electric fan he put in front of the radiator keeping it cool. From I have read on these forums, these tractors do not seem to be very expensive. I know where anotherr one is locally for about $2200with its diesel engine still in it. I had gone to look at anothe rone this guy had and saw the Major and asked about it. H epriced it and said he really hoped I didn't take it. He eventually said that price was only good for that day since he had already priced it to me. Sounds like a little bs to me.
